Update - Fire on Union St
Many of you will have seen the devastating news about the fire in the building next to Glasgow Central last night. Our thoughts are with our neighbours and all the businesses and people who have been affected and also wanted to thank the emergency services.
It’s been a difficult time for everyone in and around the Glasgow Central station, and we’re thinking of the teams who are dealing with the immediate impact.
At the moment, we don’t have any updates regarding Alston Bar & Beef Glasgow, so we’re waiting just like everyone else to find out more about the situation. As soon as we have any clear information about the bar and restaurant, we’ll share it with you.
In the meantime, we just wanted to say a huge thank you. The messages, comments and support we’ve received over the past few hours have genuinely meant a lot to the whole team. Many of you have been asking how you can help, and while there’s not a great deal anyone can do right now, the support itself goes a long way. However, if you’d still like to back us, you can always pick up a gift voucher and come and see us when we’re able to reopen for a well-earned steak and a drink.
