Update - Fire on Union St
Union Street has officially reopened, and we’re so pleased to see that Glasgow Central is coming back to life following the fire back in March.
While the main entrance to the station is open again, unfortunately we won’t be reopening our doors just yet.
We only regained access to Alston week of 6th July, so as you can imagine, we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us. We’re currently assessing the extent of the damage and beginning a major clean-up so we can get the bar and restaurant ready to welcome you back as soon as possible.
We know it’s been a long wait, and we’ve said this before, but we can’t thank you enough for your patience, support and all the lovely messages you’ve sent us over the past few months.
We’ll continue to share updates as we make progress, so please keep an eye on our social channels and we can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors again for Alston 2.0!
